    High Expectations

Ranger Protection Agency has the reputation for results-driven private property protection. As an officer, you’ll be required to accrue and maintain detailed knowledge of the properties we service and be able to provide clients and residents with accurate, timely information while on duty. You will be expected to file detailed reports, appropriately safeguard privileged or confidential information, and professionally interface and cooperate with municipal law enforcement agencies. You must maintain all licenses required by the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau and meet the renewal requirements established by the Bureau.

  Demanding Work

Security work is physically and mentally demanding. Our officers walk constantly, stand for long periods of time, and work in varying physical environments and extreme weather conditions around the clock. Our approach to security is not merely to observe and report; officers are expected to thoughtfully engage and interact as needed with staff, residents, and guests at the properties we service. Ranger officers are expected to be alert and courteous on patrol and professional, firm, and fair when enforcing property rules and Texas laws. It takes a calm, composed demeanor and the ability to make prudent decisions in the moment.
